ACtivities

Our fields of activity

The External Asset Manager (EAM) always puts your interests at the heart of his professional activity.

The study of economic developments, financial markets as well as various sectors and companies allows us to identify investment opportunities.

A multidisciplinary approach combined with a monitoring function allows us to have a global vision of your assets.

Discover
Our methodology

Assessing your situation

By starting with an exchange of ideas, by listening to your concerns and by popularizing the various problems you have to face (sometimes complicated by certain establishments in order to enhance their products), we clarify the individual needs in order to allow you to clearly understand the stakes and to arrive at the best strategic choices.

Analysis by our specialists

Audit by our network of bankers (asset managers, financial analysts, credit managers, SME and corporate managers), insurance experts, real estate experts, tax experts, lawyers and financial planners is a structure comparable to a "human-sized" family office. Our organization can easily be compared to the asset management of large fortunes or the management of your company's capital, and enables us to respond to your needs efficiently.

Optimization proposal and quote

We'll present you with the results of our specialists' evaluations and analyses, and help you make the right choices. Our solutions as well as our products allow you to benefit from our structure while keeping your relationships with your bank or your other providers. You benefit from transparent pricing, budgeted services, and fees negotiated directly by LGH with its various service providers.

Implementation of the solution(s)

After validation, we implement the different solutions. Together we set deadlines for each of our goals to improve follow-up.

Performance / risks / costs

We do not limit ourselves to the assets you entrust to us, but include in our thinking the whole of your assets. This approach allows us to take a global view. If, for example, you entrust us with the management of a securities portfolio, we define its importance and function together. Is it a simple liquidity reserve or does it represent a major part of your assets? Such a global vision allows us to control the overall risk for your assets. Moreover, it leads us naturally to a number of other considerations, in particular tax and inheritance, generating risk-free performance.

Follow-up / monitoring

Your wealth evolves throughout your life, influenced positively or negatively by your various private or professional situations, but also by changes in the law and the markets. We (LGH and our partners) have the expertise and the overview. As soon as an opportunity arises, we will notify you! It is unfortunate that you only act when you meet with your advisors. Tracking your business and monitoring your assets allows you to anticipate and make the right decisions, which will ultimately lead to sustainable wealth creation.

Laurent Hauswirth

Laurent Hauswirth

Managing Partner
Profile of Laurent Hauswirth

Laurent Hauswirth has a degree in Banking Economics and has been an asset manager for more than 30 years. He has held positions of responsibility in various reputable banks in Switzerland and abroad.

Thanks to his experience, and especially during the recent stock market crises, he noticed that customers holdings were generally not sufficiently protected in spite of dynamic strategies put in place in Banks and in comparison to clients’ assets. This is why he was inspired to set up a structure allowing his clients to benefit from a comparable management similar service and thus, optimize the performance of their investments, but especially to reduce the risks.

As a sports enthusiast, especially skiing and tennis, Laurent appreciates the spirit of competition, but also fair play.

Epicurean, he enjoys convivial moments around a table.

Pascal Descloux

Managing partner
Profile Pascal Descloux

Pascal Descloux holds a federal banking diploma and a financial advisor’s license. He has over 35 years of experience. He has worked in the fields of banking, insurance, private and commercial credit, financial analysis and asset management. He ran a regional bank.

In order to better serve his clients, he decided to create his own entity in 2004. He found that banks were too focused on short-term profit and lacked the sensitivity to understand the needs of the customer.
Initiator and founding member of ACCESS, which brings together some thirty independent asset management companies in Switzerland, he has succeeded in pooling the members’ skills in order to benefit clients.

President of a martial arts club, Pascal Descloux is also interested in classical music. He is a fine connoisseur and lover of wines from the Mediterranean region.

External Asset Manager

External Asset Manager (EAM) plays a very important role, especially during times of crisis (Covid-19, war in Ukraine, inflation, economic, monetary and financial crises, etc.), as he is always at his clients’ side.

It helps them assess and possibly mitigate the impact of some difficult financial and sometimes personal situations that might otherwise occur.

GFI EAM always puts the interests of its clients at the heart of its professional activity. Its activity, appropriately regulated and compliant, contributes to consolidating the trust and loyalty of its customers.

ASSET MANAGEMENT

Our investment process is based on several steps. The first step is to study the evolution of the different economic indicators in order to determine the current macroeconomic situation and try to forecast its evolution. The second step of the investment process will be the analysis of the companies. In this step, we will analyze the business model of the companies, their competitive situation, and the prospects for the evolution of the business given the current and future economic situation. Then, we analyze the financial situation of the companies in order to judge the solidity of their balance sheet and the profitability of their business. For companies that pass our quality criteria, we then evaluate the securities (stocks or bonds) to determine whether or not they appear attractive to us and whether or not their earnings potential merits a place in a diversified portfolio.

At the end of the investment process, a diversified investment strategy is established for each client’s risk profile. The goal of this investment strategy is to translate each client’s financial objectives into a diversified portfolio tailored to their risk profile and specific situation. Our investment process is carried out on a regular basis, and the investment strategy is reviewed according to economic and corporate developments.

We place great importance on helping our clients determine their risk profile and find the investment strategy that best suits them. Regular communication is maintained with our clients regarding their investment strategy, portfolio status, and specific needs and wishes. LHG & Associés wants to be close to its clients and to listen to them.

Family office-like structure

The interest of the Family Office concept is the notion of global and integrated management. The management of LGH & Associés is not limited to the assets that you entrust us with, but we include in our considerations all of your assets as well as your professional and private issues. This is what allows us, as wealth advisors, to have a global vision and a monitoring function.

We can provide you with top-quality advice on banking, business, finance, real estate, tax, legal affairs, inheritance, insurance and personal protection.

We offer you personalized advice, regardless of your profile or assets, to ensure consistent, comprehensive management. As the owner of a business that you want to pass on or sell down the road, we can help you secure the future of your available capital.
